After five years as our favorite small SUV, the BMW X1 is still going strong, and it's still one of our favorite models to recommend.
There are a few different options for customizing the BMW X1 for yourself. There's a single trim level, the X1 28i, but it's available as either a front-wheel drive model, which BMW calls sDrive, or as an all-wheel drive model, xDrive. From there, the X1 has two main design directions to choose from.
Style & Design
The exterior of the X1 is striking, and reminiscent of classic BMW models, with a sporty and exciting design. On the inside, the X1 is pure legendary BMW luxury, with premium materials throughout, and exciting extras, such as hidden, in-floor storage compartments in the back.
Comfort & Technology
The 2019 BMW X1 comes with the level of pampering features and innovative technology our customers expect from BMW. In addition to the availability of a special Convenience Package for the 2019 BMW X1 XLine Design, there are a number of optional features and packages than can ordered to outfit any X1 model. These include a Driver Assistance package, which gives you a lane departure warning and frontal collision warning, and a Premium Equipment Group, which can add LED headlights and a heated steering wheel to your BMW X1.
Performance
Leading the class of small SUVs in substance as well as style, the 2019 BMW X1 can take you from 0 - 60mph in just 6.3 seconds, thanks to its fun-to-drive 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This zippy engine is rated for 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and it comes paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
